Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime trekking experience to Sandakphu, the highest peak in West Bengal and the only point in India where you can see four of the five highest peaks in the world — Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga — in a single panoramic view.

This 7-day journey through the Singalila National Park is a visual and emotional retreat — with rhododendron forests, mystical black lakes, Himalayan sunrises, and welcoming homestays run by warm-hearted locals.

Our experienced local guide Sajaha Bhai, known for guiding teams from National Geographic India, will ensure your journey is safe, immersive, and unforgettable.

Duration: 7 Days / 6 Nights | Start & End Point: Siliguri

Arrival at Siliguri/NJP → Drive to Maneybhanjan / Dhotrey / Gurdum (Base village) Evening briefing & local village walk | Overnight at Homestay

Trek to Tumling/Tonglu via Meghma & Lamey Dhura (Approx. 12 km) Overnight at Homestay

🥾 Day 3

Trek to Kalipokhri via Jaubhari, Gairibas & Kaiyakatta (Approx. 13 km) Visit the sacred Black Lake | Overnight at Homestay

Trek to Sandakphu via Bikeybhanjan (Approx. 6 km) Enjoy the sunset over to see The Sleeping Buddha | Overnight at Homestay

  • Meals during transit i.e. meals while on road or travelling will not be provided. No meals will be provided in Last day (Day 7)
  • Cost of personal porter to carry his/her backpack.
  • ✅ Minimum 5 participants required to conduct this event.
  • ❗In case of fewer registrations, the trek may be rescheduled or cancelled. Final confirmation will be provided 30 days prior to the start date.
  • 🚶 Suitable for participants aged 10 and above with average fitness.
  • 📶 Mobile network is scarce; however, all homestays provide WiFi.
  • 🧳 Please carry light luggage (max 15–20 kg) for better mobility.
  • 🏔️ High altitude may cause breathlessness; consult your doctor if you have asthma, heart issues, or other medical conditions.
  • 🥶 Weather can drop below 2°C in early mornings—even in September—carry warm clothing.
  • 👣 Follow your guide's instructions strictly and avoid trekking alone.
  • 30 days before the trek date, full refund of the paid amount
  • 15 days before the trek date, 50% refund of the paid amount.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days to the start date of the trek, no refund possible
  • One has option to send another person on their behalf.
  • Only for Indian citizens
  • Full payment details will be shared after initial registration.
  • In case of trek cancellation due to weather or minimum participant shortfall, we’ll offer an option to reschedule or transfer your booking to the next available batch or full refund will be paid.
